The WRX is somewhat of an icon, a cult car, a true classic, so for the new model, Subaru really had to do something special to keep its fans. Luckily it does not disappoint, with 221kW and 407Nm of torque making this car a real contender in the traffic light rally. Brought to us straight from the dealership, it was full of the usual dealer induced marring, and the paint was far from perfect. A full protection and enhancement followed.
Starting with our multi-stage wash to remove all signs of dirt and contaminant:
Followed by careful drying:
This allowed us to see the true condition of the paint:
A multi-step correction was performed:
Resulting in paint perfection:
The paint was prepared for Opti-Coat by using the exclusive Opti-Coat prep solution, to maximise bonding and act as a catalyst for the cross-linking:
And then Opti-Coat was applied and left to cure overnight:
After an inspection, the car was taken out to admire! We absolutely love these number plates:
