Opti-Coat Ceramic Paint Protection
OCD is proud to have been chosen as the exclusive authorised agent for the Optimum Opti-Coat range of paint protection products. In our experience, nothing else matches the durability, strength, ease of maintenance, and looks of Opti-Coat, whilst providing the most comprehensive paint protection warranty in Australia.
Whilst many other brands of paint protection are simply rebranded generic products, Opti-Coat is made in the USA, with extensive testing conducted in Australia under our harsh environmental conditions. Infact, the Australian market is the key driver in the development of Opti-Coat, and the product is undergoing continuous testing and development.
Some of the benefits of Opti-Coat include:
Opti-Coat is the only paint protection product on the market to have been independently tested by the CSIRO. A copy of the report is available HERE. We challenge any of our competitors to beat, or even match our results. So far, no other product has undergone the independent testing that Opti-Coat has.
More information, and the warranty terms and conditions are available at the Optimum Australia Website.
We also understand that Opti-Coat may not be suitable for everyone, thus we offer a variety of waxes, sealants, and coatings to suit all needs.
Paint Protection Film
For the ultimate protection for your vehicle, nothing beats Paint Protection Film (PPF). PPF is precision cut to your cars shape and applied, forming an almost invisible, impact and scratch resistance layer on your cars paint work. Ideal to protect from stone chips, door dings, and to preserve the value of your car. Especially valuable for those who track their cars regularly, and for those limited edition cars where a respray of the front end would lower its value.
We utiluse Xpel and Suntek Paint Protection Film, and cut all designs in house.
We have kits for the whole car, front end, half front end, door handles, and more, starting at $990.
Automotive leather is unlike leather used in furniture, and thus requires specialist care and attention. In the vast majority of cases, you are not dealing with the leather, but with a PVC top coat, thus products that claim to use fats and oils to rejuvenate and moisturise leather are litte more than elaborate scams, that do nothing but leave an oily, greasy finish, which attracts dirt, and causes wearing of the PVC coating.
We use only water based products that penetrate the PVC coating, hydrating and rejuvenating the leather underneath. Before this, a comprehensive deep clean is performed, which removes dirt, oily residue, and often years of cheap silicone based leather “dressings”. The leather is restored to a factory matte finish, before being protected and hydrated, with either a water based dressing or a permanent leather coating.
We recommend leather and fabric protection for all cars, especially new cars, to preserve theinterior and make cleaning and maintenance easier.
We use Optimum Opti-Guard, which uses the same technology in OptiCoat Pro Plus, to protect interior.
The leather and vinyl is a flexible acrylic bases coating, forming an abrasion resistant layer that prevents staining, UV damage, and de-hydration. Dye transfer from jeans becomes a breeze to remove.
Fabrics are treated with a hydrophobic, stain resistant coating, ensuring stains do not penetrate and are easy to remove. In most cases, stains are simply removed with Optimum Carpet and Fabric Cleaner, causing no permanent marking.
Of course, as a premium detailing service, we don’t just polish the paint and clean the leather, then call is a day. Our full restoration packages consist of numerous services such as:
Our aim is to have the vehicle as it was when it left the showroom, if not better.
